The KNUST AI Initiative is a university-wide effort to design, coordinate, and deliver high-quality Artificial Intelligence education and capacity-building programmes across all colleges. It focuses on AI literacy, applied learning, ethical practice, and long-term sustainability.

- Undergraduate and postgraduate students across all colleges

- Professionals and members of the wider community, depending on course type and delivery mode
Some courses may have prerequisites, which will be clearly stated.
3When will the AI courses begin?▾
The first set of approved AI courses will begin in January 2025, with additional self-paced courses rolled out progressively thereafter.
4Are the AI courses compulsory?▾
Some foundational AI literacy courses may be required for specific programmes, while others are elective or self-paced. The exact structure depends on programme requirements and Academic Board approval.

Courses are delivered using a combination of:
